Understanding Underglaze

Decorating is an important step in finishing a ceramic piece.  This is where people often get hung up.  There are innumerable ways to create incredible results.  In this workshop, we will be focusing on the use of underglazes to do the work. Sgraffito, Pattern, Watercolor and Storytelling are all demonstrated.  You will make your own pinch pots and use them as a canvas to learn and practice underglaze techniques.
